June 7, 2008 Foster is back!

We sold Foster (Australian for Beer) a little over a year ago to a couple in Tampa, FL who unfortunately got divorced and could not keep him. He is back home with us now!

May 17-18, 2008 Chattahoochee Hills Horse Trials

Linnea and Artrageous place 8th in the Novice Horse division after a personal best dressage score and a double clear (and fast) cross country

Linnea and Alaskan Crown Place 7th in Open Beginner Novice at Crown's VERY FIRST horse trial!

We were incredibly pleased and honored to have Elizabeth and Barry from Bits and Bytes along with several "friends of Bits and Bytes" and my Aunt Sandee and Uncle Dale come to cheer us on on Saturday. The "friends of Bits and Bytes" made signs and gave both horses lots of love and Elizabeth took TONS of pictures! I also want to personally thank Julie Rentz for coming along with me and being a HUGE help as honorary groom...she has that job for life if she wants it!

Linnea and Alaskan Crown:

1st place in Low Jumper (2'6") A and B

1st place in the Gambler's Choice jumper class

Linnea and Bright Rowan (then known as Pampa):

4th place in Crossrails class A (her fourth time jumping EVER)

1st place in Crossrails class B

It's a filly for Royal Bob (owned by Kay Tapley) and Artrageous

March 12, 2008 @ 11:30 am Fox Haven Farm has it's first colored foal!

It's another colt! Rox foaled a very tall medicine hat paint foal by All Glory to God (by Airdrie Apache)

March 5th, 2008 @ 11:06 pm Artrageous' first foal has arrived!

It's a colt! He stood on his own within 30 minutes of birth and then proceeded to take his mother on a walkabout of the paddock before he even nursed!

January 5th, 2008, Sport Horse Stallion Expo at the James B. Hunt Horse complex in Raleigh, NC

Artrageous will be attending this showcase of stallions and will be shown on the flat and over fences.

November 10-11, 2007 Phillip Dutton Clinic at Cedar Ridge Farm in Athens, GA

Linnea and Artrageous rode in the Training level group and had a fantastic confidence building weekend. Not only did we jump Training level cross country fences, we also jumped several Prelim fences! Videos on the Stallions page.

October 20-21, 2007 Horse Shows in the Park at Canterbury Hunter/Jumper show

Linnea and Artrageous:

1st place Sport Horse in hand

2'9" Jumper: one 2nd, two 3rd's and a 4th earning him Reserve Champion in the division Pictures here

2'3" Green Hunter over fences: two 2nd's and a 3rd (first time in an indoor arena and in a Hunter class!)

None of the judges believed Arty is a stallion and one of them had to look to make sure!

Linnea and Alaskan Crown:

2' Novice Jumper (her very first ever show!): two 2nd's

2'3" Schooling Jumper: 2nd

Kilea Haire took over the reins on Alaskan Crown on Sunday and did a FANTASTIC job in the 2'3" and 2'6" Jumper divisions! Pictures here

Linnea and Artrageous place 6th with a clear cross country and stadium round in Beginner Novice Horse.

May 5-6, 2007 Poplar Place May Horse Trials

Linnea and Ollie place 9th with a clear cross country and stadium round in Open Beginner Novice. We were tied for 8th and would have finished in 8th place, however we were too fast cross country!

March 16-18, 2007 Rocking Horse Spring Horse Trials

Linnea and Artrageous place 6th with a clear cross country round 30 seconds under Optimum time in Open Beginner Novice A.

March 9, 2007- Elizabeth Wood and Barry Zuber of Bits & Bytes farm come to visit the horses they sold to us

February 2-4, 2007 Rocking Horse Winter I Horse Trials and combined test

Linnea and Ollie place 6th with a clear cross country and stadium round in Open Beginner Novice.

Western County (Ridden by Jodie Vella-Gregory) places 11th Novice Division B.

December 9 , 2006 Rocking Horse schooling Horse Trials

Linnea and Western County place 6th with a clear cross country and stadium round in Beginner Novice Division B.

November 18-19, 2006 Ocala Horse Trials

Linnea and Rebuy place 7th with a clear cross country round in Open Novice Division B.

Linnea and Western County place 13th with an excellent cross country round (no jumping penalties) and a dressage score of 38 in Beginner Novice Horse.

November 4 , 2006 Rocking Horse schooling Horse Trials

Linnea and Rebuy place 3rd with a clear cross country round in Novice Division B.

Linnea and Western County place 6th with a clear cross country round and a dressage score of 39 in Beginner Novice Division B. June 9-11, 2006 USEA Area III Championships at Poplar Place

After a less than stellar start in dressage on Friday, Linnea and Rebuy and Linnea and Australian for Beer (Foster) end the competition with a double clear cross country and stadium to place 28th and 29th respectively out of 43 competitors. We know what we need to work on for next season!

Linnea and Rebuy place 4th and finish on their dressage score in Beginner Novice. They are now qualified for the Area III Championships which will be held at Poplar Place Farm June 9-11, 2006.
